A brief description of the Association:

Objectives and Activities of the Association

Objectives of the Association:

  • - To educate dentists, dental students, dental technicians, software developers and engineers in the use of digital technology in dentistry;
  • - to establish professional guidelines for digital dentistry;
  • - validation of products from dental manufacturing companies;
  • - professional evaluation of members and partner organisations;
  • - promoting cooperation between dentists, dental students, dental technicians, software developers and engineers;
  • - presenting the scientific achievements, opportunities and objectives of digital dentistry;
  • - establishing links with national and international organisations who are active in the field of digital dentistry;
  • - launching interdisciplinary technological collaborations with international representatives in the sector.

Activities of the association:

  • - To promote research, education, training and professional care in digital dentistry,
  • - to support the development of certain digital therapeutic procedures, the development of new procedures and their dissemination in the field of dental patient care in Hungary;
  • - publishing and disseminating professional methodological letters and brochures;
  • - developing a code of ethics for digital dental patient care;
  • - establishing and maintaining contacts between digital dentistry professionals;
  • - establishing links between researchers and practitioners, developing cooperation with national, foreign and international associations;
  • - giving opinions on the introduction of foreign materials and equipment in Hungary;
  • - acting as a professional advisor on controversial issues concerning digital dentistry;
  • - organising scientific and training events, professional exhibitions;
