Memorandum of Understanding between the Turkish and the Hungarian Dental Association

The Hungarian Dental Association considers it extremely important to build contact and cooperation with foreign dental associations, therefore it strives to continuously expand this network  with new foreign partner associations.
 

After several discussions with the Turkish Dental Association, the Memorandum of Understanding between the two associations was officially signed on 4 May 2023 at the VIP reception of the Symposiumszeged conference, where Her Excellency Gülşen Karanis Ekşioğlu, Turkish Ambassador, and Zoltán Hossó, Turkish Honorary Consul, also honoured the participants of the reception with their presence.
 

Due to the natural disaster that hit Turkey, President Prof. Dr. A. Tarik Ismen unfortunately could not attend the VIP reception, so on behalf of him, Prof. Dr. Hande Sar Sancakli, board member of  the Turksih Dental Association's International Affairs Commitee, personally signed the agreement on 4 May.  Özlem Kaynak, General Manager (Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic and Slovakia) and Szilvia Lember Country Manager (Hungary) representing Haleon plc., moreover, 35 invited foreign speakers of the SymposiumSzeged conference and companies' representatives also took part at the signing ceremony.
 

Some of the aims of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two associations are:

• to collaborate on the international forums, and to support and promote each other’s proposals and motions,
• to elaborate an exchange program between the two countries’ dental professionals,
• to facilitate the postgraduate exchange programs between the two countries’ universities,
• to invite guest speakers to their own national conferences.
