HPV and oral health: Turning routine care into cancer prevention

This webinar explores the growing impact of HPV-related oropharyngeal cancers and the important role dentists and dental teams play in prevention, early detection and patient education. Based on the FDI HPV Project white paper, it provides practical guidance on recognizing clinical signs of HPV-related disease, performing systematic oral and neck examinations, and discussing HPV vaccination in a neutral, evidence-based way. Participants will also learn how to use new patient and professional education resources to support conversations about HPV in daily practice. The session focuses on integrating HPV awareness and prevention strategies into routine dental care to help improve patient outcomes and reduce the burden of HPV-related cancers.
